CANCELLATION/SUBSTITUTION POLICY: Cancellations or substitutions can be made by calling 402.438.2253. To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made before 5:00 PM CT on April 16, 2021. Substitutions must also be made by this date. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 5:00PM CT on April 16, 2021.
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Walk-ins are welcome, but space is not guaranteed. Check or cash will be required for walk-ins. Participants will receive conference materials electronically prior to the conference.

What is youth day?
Bringing together juvenile justice professionals, judges, youth advocates, and current or former system-involved youth to learn together. Attendees will participate in workshops, visit with community resources and hear from keynote speakers Bob Berminham, Jr. and Ivy D. Tillman from the Robert F. Kennedy National Resource Center for Juvenile Justice and break-out sessions on the system you’ve lived within.
When: Thursday, May 6, 2021
Where: 2021 NJJA conference, Younes Conference Center, Kearney, NE.
Who: Up to 40 youth participants with current and former involvement in the juvenile justice system and their support people.
Two Ways to Join: NJJA remains committed to include youth in our annual conference, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. We will follow CDC guidelines and best practices, as well as local directed health measures, at the time of the conference. Up to 40 youth can join, either in person for the full conference or Zoom in for Youth Day Keynote, two breakouts, and the Call to Action discussion. We will also make available any other Zoom presenters during the conference to Youth Day participants. Masks will be given out to all participants. For facility or youth groups joining virtually, if you gather at least 4 youth, NJJA will send you a Conference Care Package with snacks and swag.

NJJA may document the conference with photographs and video or audio recordings, each of which will be used for NJJA’s own purposes. By your attendance at the conference, you consent to NJJA’s use of any videos, recordings, or photographs obtained at the conference for NJJA’s own purposes.
